BERNARD OSEI VIDEO FELLOW

Inaugural Bernard Osei Video Fellow

As of April 2025, I am honored to be selected as the inaugural Bernard Osei Video Fellow at Forbes for 2025 - 2026.

The Bernard Osei Video Fellowship is a twelve-month immersive training program for early-career multi-platform video producers with a passion for business journalism, who will rotate through our video department in order to learn targeted skills specific to a Forbes career.

As a fellow, I will rotate through the video department during a series of three, 4-month assignments in order to develop skills related to producing and editing: 1) in-studio interviews, 2) longer-form enterprise editorial videos, and 3) videos for branded content and live-events.

From conception to publish– I will develop skills related to taking full ownership of editorial video projects as assigned by Sr. Producer, including but not limited to: Always-on content, Original series, Sponsored editorial content, and Events and Summits.

Editorial enterprise. In-Studio Interviews. Branded Content. Live Events.

Role: Production Coordinator, Associate Producer, Vertical Video Editor & Graphic Designer

I pitched and led the creative development of a social-first sizzle promotional video designed to generate anticipation and engagement for the Enterprise Zone Podcast’s end-of-year interviews. I served as the project’s primary creative, overseeing the full production lifecycle — from concept development and pre-production through on-site direction, filming, editing, and final delivery.

The video features actor Mike Colter (best known for Marvel’s Luke Cage) and former NASA aerospace engineer and entrepreneur Aisha Bowe, who most recently flew aboard Blue Origin’s historic all-women crewed spaceflight alongside Katy Perry and Gayle King. The piece spotlights the Nasdaq recording set in New York City’s Times Square, capturing both the energy of the world’s epicenter of business and entertainment and the behind-the-scenes atmosphere of the show to offer audiences a new, immersive perspective on Enterprise Zone.

The shoot also incorporated a visiting STEM empowerment youth group, Tech Sassy Girls (Orlando, FL), documenting their experience sitting in on a conversation between Enterprise Zone host and Forbes Senior Writer Jabari Young and Aisha Bowe about the intersection of STEM, business, and innovation.

This project additionally launched a new exclusive video content series that I created for the Forbes BLK community platform. I developed the concept and format for the series, which enables Forbes BLK members to submit direct questions to featured guests and receive tailored advice from industry professionals. In support of the rollout, I also designed the graphic kit and produced visual assets featured in the Forbes BLK monthly newsletter.

Roles & Responsibilities:
